Expand A Blast- This gun is awfull out of the box. When modded this gun makes a great rifle. It has very good range. It has pretty good RoF since it is a spring powered gun.

-Lock n Load- This is one of the best Nerf pistols in my opinion. It has a good RoF and good range. Though it's didcontinued, you can still find one on Ebay quite often. If you find one: Buy it.

Crossbow- This gun isn't very good out of the box. It can fire arrows or mega darts.When modded correctly. This is an excelent sniper rifle.  To increase this gun's RoF, be sure to Breech modify the barrel and/or have extra barrels, this gun, in my opinion can turn from awful foam shooter, to welt bringer.

Nite Finder- This is a great micro dart shooting pistol. Modded it is very strong and has a good RoF.I recommend  going to Toys R Us and buying one, since they're very cheap. I suggest you CPVC mod it and remove the air restrictors, this is definetly one of the strongest spring pistols around.

Secret Strike Pocket Blaster-This Nerf gun is only about 4 inches long but has very good range despite its size. A very good back-up/holdout weapon. Perfect for integrations, to give you that extra shot incase of emergancy.

Maverick REV-6- This is Nerf's latest blaster. It is a 6-shot revolver that uses Nerf micro darts. It has an incredible RoF and is an excelent sidearm for a raider/ambusher. Can be modded to shoot at around 40-50 feet. With it's $8.00 pricetag it's a great buy for someone new to Nerf.

Fastblast- This gun has an incredible RoF. The range isn't that good. This weapon is a good Kamikaze/assult weapon, and could also be a good backup for someone with a long range single-shot weapon.

RapidFire20- This is a great gun. It is perfect for indoorwars. It has a great ROF and rapid fire and single fire modes. This gun is pretty cheap, but you better get them fast as they are running low on store shelves, no nerfer is complete without one.

SuperMaxx5000- Not a very good gun out of the box. Modified, it can be one of Nerf's most powerful primaries. It has plenty of extra shell, making it good for an integration. It has a terrible rate of fire modified, but because of its large air tank, it can pack a punch. This is a good gun, but it is not for younger kids, this is for experienced Nerfers, it is difficult to move the pump closer to the barrel.  Here’s my rating:

Tech Target- This gun is accurate, but has bad ranges out of the box, it comes with a target that you can play sharpshooter, bull's eye, etc on. This target jacks up the price. After modification, it can get as good or better ranges then a Nite Finder, but will set you back $15 more. It is also larger then the Nite Finder, but it is a good sidearm, and a fun pistol. Here's what I give it:

N-Strike Set (Scout, Hornet, Titan) - This is an ok set out of the box, the scout is a bad pistol (which can be replaced by a newer Nite Finder or Maverick rev-6), The Titan takes a long time to pump up to shoot a missile that can easily be dodged, and the hornet us probably the best out of the box. Modified, the Titan is probably the most powerful gun in Nerf, the scout is hard to modify and even then is no match for the Nite Finder and Tech Target. The Hornet is a great gun with a good RoF (except when you need to reload.) This is a fun set to have, but it will set you back $40. Here’s my insight (Overall):

Airtech2000- This gun is horrible out of the box, but becomes a monster after a few barrel replacements and removing of air restrictors. This can modified with CPVC, Brass, or PETG barrels to shoot 70-90ft with 4 barrels for an excellent RoF. This is a good gun to grab for starters; since the simplicity of a single barrel mod, in which the multi barrel mod isn’t much harder.

Tek Six- This is one of my favorite pistols. It's range out of the box is only about 15 feet , but when modded with CPVC barrels, can reach ranges of 40 feet. The RoF of this gun is superb and is a very good backup weapon for someone with a high powered single shot gun, or someone who enjoys rushing and uses rapid-fire guns. This gun is also very cheap, and comes in two differant colors. This is NOT a Nerf brand gun, but is a worthy adition to any Nerfer's arsenal.

Airtech3000- This is an all around great gun. It has a great RoF mixed in with a good range. This makes it an excellent trooper weapon.  You can get off all six shots very fast, and with pretty good accuracy.  It's a great weapon indoors, or in urban envirnments. It can hold it's own against many farther shooting guns because of it's auto-rotating barrels, you can mow down the opposition.

Lanard Speedloader-- This is one of my favorite dart blasters. It is made by Lanard and NOT Nerf. This Gun is Spring Powered. It is cocked back like a shotgun. This allows for very fast firing. This gun is even better after modification. It is a worthy addition to anyones arsenal. It's only $6.00! Perfect weapon for beginner and veteran alike. Great for indoor wars, and a good backup for outdoor wars.
